Dare Not Linger: A look into Madiba's years as president

A book about Nelson Mandela's presidency has hit the shelves.
The book, 'Dare Not Linger', was launched at the Nelson Mandela Foundation in Houghton on Tuesday evening.
It was written by Madiba and co-authored by novelist, Mandla Langa.
Madiba began writing an account of his presidential years as his term in office drew to a close. However, he never finished.
Langa completed the book using Madiba's unfinished draft as well as detailed noted and unseen archive material.
The book gives the reader a more in-depth look into Madiba's years as head of state.
The prologue was written by Mandela's widow, Graca Machel, and gives a vivid account of Mandela's presidential years.
'Dare Not Linger' tells the story of a country in transition and the challenges Mandela faced as he tirelessly worked to make his vision for a liberated South Africa a realisation.
