Calls have been mounting for Manana to resign after he admitted to assaulting a woman during a brawl at a restaurant in Johannesburg.
Manana was released on R5 000 bail after appearing in the Randburg Magistrates Court on August 11.
He is facing two counts of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The case was postponed until September for further investigation
