Dlamini: Cosatu more united than in 2015
Updated | By Jacaranda FM news
The Congress of South African Trade Unions (Cosatu) president Sdumo Dlamini says the federation is more united than was the case in 2015.

Dlamini was the addressing Cosatu's Central Committee in Irene.
Cosatu's largest affiliate the National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (Numsa) was expelled in 2014, with former general secretary Zwelinzima Vavi shown the door in 2015.
"We are more united than we were at that particular time," said Dlamini.
The relationship between Cosatu and the African National Congress (ANC) alliance has come under strain in recent months, following the federation's call for President Jacob Zuma to step down.
Cosatu has subsequently announced that it would bar President Zuma from addressing its events.
Dlamini says the ANC needs help from its alliance partners, as the party cannot survive on its own.
"When the ANC does something wrong, Cosatu can act against it like we already did.
"At the moment it seems decisions can be taken by one partner, despite affecting all the partner," he said.
Cosatu says it will meet with the ANC next week to discuss issues affecting the tripartite alliance.
