Drama in Manana court case as another suspect is pointed out
Updated | By Slindelo Masikane
A second suspect has been arrested in connection with the assault case involving ANC MP Mduduzi Manana.
Manana is accused of slapping two women at a popular Fourways restaurant last month.
He had admitted to hitting one of the women and resigned as deputy Minister shortly thereafter.
He however remains a member of Parliament.
Gauteng Police's Kay Makhubele says the second suspect was arrested at the Randburg Magistrates' court where Manana is appearing.
The suspect was pointed out by one of the women involved in the alleged assault.
