Eskom suspends load shedding until 4 pm

Eskom has announced that it will suspend load shedding from 8 am until 4 pm on Tuesday.

The power utility says stage 1 will then be implemented between 4 pm and 10 pm.
The embattled power utility had initially planned to implement stage 1 load shedding from 8 am until 4 pm and stage 2 until 10 pm on Monday and Tuesday.
"As some units have returned since last night, load shedding between 08:00-16:00 will be cancelled,” says spokesperson Sikonathi Mantshantsha.
“Eskom will continue to communicate any changes to the supply situation.”

As some units have returned since last night, there will be no loadshedding betwn 08:00-16:00. However, please note that loadshedding will be reduced to Stage 1 from 16:00-22:00 tonight. Eskom will continue to communicate any changes to the supply situation
