Exams to go ahead at TUT
Updated | By Sibahle Motha
Exams at the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) will continue this morning following protest action by security staff on campus last week.

Outsourced security personnel embarked on strike action accusing the University of not holding up its side of the bargain.
TUT spokesperson Will de Ruyter says exams and other activities will continue as scheduled today.
"Security personnel protested this morning at the main campus and closed the gates for a short while. Police are currently on campus and are assisting the institution in making campus accessible," says de Ruyter.
On Friday TUT workers, supported by the South African Federation of Trade Union (SAFTU) and #outsourcingmustfall, held a mass picket over increased wages.
Security workers were demanding to be insourced and a minimum wage of R5000 per month.
