Faf de Klerk wows Tutu with his famous speedo
Updated | By Nokukhanya Mntambo
Springbok scrumhalf Faf de Klerk has once again donned his famous speedo, this time for anti-apartheid icon Desmond Tutu.
Tutu met the Rugby World Cup champions in Cape Town on Monday on the final leg of their trophy tour through the country.
South Africa's rugby stars hoisted the Web Ellis Cup before thousands of ecstatic fans at Cape Town's City Hall, where Nelson Mandela delivered his first speech after being released from prison.
During a meet-and-greet with the team, De Klerk took the opportunity to show the Arch the famous patriotic speedo he revealed to Prince Harry in the team's dressing room in Japan.
An unbothered Tutu greeted de Klerk with his famous sense of humour.
The Desmond and Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation have since released a statement saying: "Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu was thrilled to meet the Springbok rugby team in Cape Town today. He is a passionate Springbok supporter, and a massive fan of captain Siya Kolisi and coach Rassie Erasmus.
"The wave of patriotism and goodwill sweeping the country with the Rugby World Cup winning Springboks revisits the promise of the united, non-racial society Nelson Mandela and his colleagues embodied a generation ago."
Earlier this year, De Klerk told Breakfast with Martin Bester the has two specific speedos that bring him good luck.
