Family, friends shocked at Flabba's death

He was allegedly stabbed to death by his girlfriend at his Alexandra home during the early hours of Monday morning.

 

His cousin Nothemba Silupa says Flabba was a bubbly soul.

 

 

Band member Lebo "Shugasmakx" Mothibe says they're all trying to digest what's happened.

 

He says Flabba's death was the result of a lovers' quarrel gone wrong.

 

 

 

South African comedian and friend David Kau says it still feels unreal.

 

Kau says the circumstances surrounding Flabba's death doesn't make sense.

 

 

Band member and friend Slikour says they have lost a brother.

Hebedi's younger brother Tshepang Habedi reportedly says his brother was stabbed once in the heart.

 

Habedi is survived by his younger brother, 60-year-old mother and two children.

 

Gauteng police spokesperson Katlego Mogale says Flabba's girlfriend has been taken into custody and will appear in court soon.
