Pule was found stabbed and hanged in a veld on Monday in the Durban Deep area, west of Johannesburg.

The heavily pregnant woman was last seen by family last week Thursday when she left her home in Meadowlands, Soweto, to visit her boyfriend.

Acting Gauteng Social Development MEC Panyaza Lesufi and Community Safety MEC Faith Mazibuko visited the family home on Tuesday.

Pule’s uncle Tumisang Katake says the family is struggling to come to terms with Pule’s death.

“I do not want to get into details of how horrific the scene of Tshego was. It hurts, as a family we do not want to relive those moments.

“Any question with regards to whether we suspect the boyfriend is behind the murder – we will not answer that.”

Kakate says police have kept the family abreast with their investigations.

“I would not to comment on the investigation processes.

“We have received briefing from the police, and we are satisfied with the process and the investigation that have unfolded up to so far.”
