Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
Gauteng police say they have nabbed a sixth suspect linked to the murder of actor Dumisani Masilela.
Police are positive that this conclude their search for all the suspects allegedly involved in the murder.
The actor was killed during a hijacking in Tembisa in Johannesburg in August last year.
The Rhythm City actor played the character of Sifiso Ngema on the popular soap.
Police spokesperson Mathapelo Peters says the sixth and final suspect, a 34-year-old man, was arrested last week.
Peters says the initial four suspects were arrested last year, while the fifth suspect died in a robbery.
"All suspects have been positively linked to five cases - the murder of Dumisani Masilela; three car hijackings reported in Daveyton, Phokeng, and Siyabuswa respectively; and a case in Boitekong of possession of stolen cell phone."
The final suspect is expected to appear in the Benoni Magistrate's Court on Monday.
