Five killed in Newcastle crash

Five people were killed in a crash involving four vehicles on the N11 near Newcastle in KwaZulu-Natal.
Two trucks, a minibus taxi and a car collided on the Majuba Pass on Wednesday night.
A taxi - travelling from Johannesburg to Newcastle - collided with three other vehicles on the N11.

Paramedics on the scene said ten other people were injured and transported to hospital.
The Road Traffic Inspectorate's Zinhle Mngomezulu said while there were no road closures in place, traffic was slow-moving and directed around the scene on Thursday morning.
It's still unclear what caused the crash.
