Four people were arrested in Protea North in Soweto, Johannesburg on Monday for public violence, Gauteng police said.

Lieutenant Kay Makhubela said residents blocked the road and pelted passing cars with stones, demanding electricity.
"The road is opened and the police are monitoring the situation," he said.
