Police in Gauteng have arrested four boys between the ages of 10 and 13 for allegedly raping a 4-year-old girl in Muldersdrift, north west of Johannesburg, on Friday.

The suspects have since been taken to the Walter Sisulu Youth Centre.
Gauteng police spokesperson Mavela Masondo says the mother of the victim was reportedly doing the client's hair when her nephew told her about the alleged rape.
"The boys, together with their guardians as well as the mother and the victim, were taken to the police station and rape case was opened for further investigation.”
In a separate incident, the police arrested a 24-year-old man for allegedly raping a 5-year-old girl in Khutsong on Thursday evening.
It is understood that the mother of the victim left her two children, aged 11 and 5, at home to visit her boyfriend.
