Updated | By Nomfundo Twala
The Gauteng Department of Education will introduce a law firm appointed to investigate the death of a Grade 5 learner from Reagile Primary School in Tembisa.
The incident, which claimed the life of Milton Neo Mokgoatsane, occurred on 16 February during the second break.
Spokesperson Steve Mabona says the learner was among a group playing near soccer goal posts when one allegedly fell, causing serious injuries.
Gauteng Education MEC Matome Chiloane is expected to formally introduce the law firm to the school.
" The MEC will also outline the Terms of Reference that will guide the law firm’s investigation, including the scope and focus of the independent investigation."
