The Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) has confirmed that a school that was broken into on Friday, was broken into again on Monday.
GDE spokesperson, Steve Mabona says on Monday thieves got away with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for teachers and pupils at Sikhulisile Primary School in Ekangala.
This comes as schools are set to reopen on June 1 with grades 7s and 12s.

"This is the second break-in at the school within 48 hours,” noted Mabona.
“We have been experienced many break-ins and this is uncalled for. We are calling on community members who may have witnessed this to come forward.”
Gauteng Education MEC, Panyaza Lesufi also confirmed on Monday that 331 schools in the province have been vandalised to date during the lockdown.
"Of the 331 schools, seven of the schools had their admin blocks burned down. We have already delivered three mobile classes to each of the seven schools to ensure that the administrative capacity is not disrupted," said Lesufi
He has issued an assurance that PPE will be protected by new patrol guards that will begin work on June 1.
