Hawks arrest 6th suspect in Ngcobo killings
The Hawks have arrested a sixth suspect in connection with the killing of five police officers and a soldier in Ngcobo in the Eastern Cape.
Eastern Cape Hawks spokesperson, Anelisa Feni, says the man was arrested on Tuesday night at the controversial Seven Angels Ministry, where many of the suspects have been hiding.
The arrest comes after a gang raided the Ngcobo Police station last week, killing five policemen and a soldier.
The church hit the headlines at the weekend when seven people suspected to be involved in the murders, including three church leaders, were shot dead.
Several young girls and women were rescued from the church, which locals have described as a "cult".

Feni says the suspect was found in possession of an illegal gun.
"It was one of the firearms that were stolen from the police station where the officers were killed," Feni says
The man is expected to appear in the Ngcobo District Court on Thursday.
Feni says there are still processes that need to be followed before the church building is completely shut down.
"The church itself has been shut down, but for the house to be closed there are some procedures to be followed before it can be closed.”
