Health Ministry spokesperson Joe Maila has died
Health minister Aaron Motsoaledi has confirmed the death of his spokesperson Joe Maila.
The minister told Jacaranda FM News that Maila passed away on Thursday night.
Joe Maila is survived by his wife and two children.
Motsoaledi has urged the media and the public to allow the family space during this difficult time.
"I appeal to the media and members of the community to allow the family space to deal with his death. Details of his memorial and funeral services will be announced as soon as we receive information from the family."
Gauteng police spokesperson Lungelo Dlamini says Maila died at a shooting range in Silverton.
