Henri van Breda released on bail for De Zalze murders

21-year old Henri van Breda made his first brief appearance in the Stellenbosch Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Van Breda handed himself over to police on Monday afternoon.
He has been charged with the murders of three members of the Van Breda family in January last year.
Martin, Teresa and their other son Rudi were killed in an axe attack at their home in the upmarket De Zalze estate.
He has also been charged with the attempted murder of his sister, Marli van Breda, as well as the obstruction of justice.
Van Breda has been released on bail of R100 000.
The case has been postponed to 9 September and will be transferred to the Western Cape High Court.
