Three hijacking suspects killed in shootout with police in Atteridgeville

Three suspects were killed during a shootout with the police on Tuesday night in Atteridgeville, Tshwane.
The South African Police Service (SAPS) received a tip about a group of suspects involved in hijackings around Pretoria.
SAPS provincial spokesperson, Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi, said the suspects' car was eventually located.
“Three of the suspects died while two were taken to the hospital with injuries,” said Nevhuhulwi
“Three unlicensed firearms with ammunition, signal jammers, hand gloves and balaclavas, including the vehicle, were confiscated.”
Police investigations are still ongoing.
