Hiring Cuba engineers an insult to the country - Mashaba
Updated | By Neo Motloung
ActionSA leader Herman Mashaba has described the deployment of Cuban engineers at the Vaal as an insult to the South African engineering industry.
This comes after the Department of Human Settlement, Water and Sanitation hired 24 Cuban engineers to fix the Vaal River spillage crisis.
"As ActionSA, we believe is this outrageous, this is total madness it is an insult to engineers in South Africa," says Mashaba.
Mashaba believes that South Africa has more skilled engineers than Cuba.
"I believe this is a scheme by the ANC government to continue looting this country, it has nothing to do with the interest of the country."
