Hundreds of protestors have gathered at Church Square in Pretoria for a march to the Union Buildings.

The crowd is calling for Zuma to go.

A sea of red can be seen at the march.

EFF supporters say if the president is not removed today, members will remove him by any revolutionary means possible.

Members of Parliament will vote by secret ballot on whether or not the president should go.

Parliament Speaker Baleka Mbete granted the opposition's wish for a secret ballot.

Opposition parties believe this will increase the motion's prospects of success.

But the African National Congress (ANC) has been clear in its warning - that those who do not tow the party line will be disciplined.

For now - the crowds at protest marches in Pretoria and Cape Town continue to grow.

EFF leader Julius Malema addressed protestors in Cape Town.

He says Zuma will only have a peaceful sleep when he resigns and goes back to Nkandla to look after cattle.

"We promised you will do everything in our power to remove this man. Even if we fail today, we will meet him in the Constitutional Court for his impeachment case. The only time Zuma will have a peaceful sleep is when he resigns and goes back to Nkandla to look after cattle."

But DA leader Mmusi Maimane says the president shouldn't be allowed to retire to Nkandla.

"Zuma must go. He is the greatest sellout. He mustn't retire in Nkandla, Zuma must go to jail."
