'I am a bodybuilder', Mokoditwa tells Public Protector committee
The Ad Hoc Committee tasked with finding a new Public Protector has heard that age should not be a factor when considering a replacement for Advocate Thuli Madonsela.
The committee is in the process of a marathon interview session at Parliament.
The first of 14 interviews started after 7.45am on Thursday and interviews are expected to continue until midnight.
Candidate number three was Advocate Chris Madibeng Mokoditwa who was specifically asked about his age,
He is 77 years-old.
"I'm fit and I am a bodybuilder. I have said it in my CV," Mokoditwa said to a laughing committee.
"I walk in the 15km Soweto Marathon. If I can do that, then this is nothing", he said.
