If you're waiting for post - it could take up to a month

The South African Post Office (SAPO) says it could take up to twenty working days to work through the backlog as a result of a strike which has now been brought to an end.
"Accumulated mail is expected to take roughly 20 work days to be processed," says the Post Office after it reached an agreement with striking workers.
Workers of the Communication Workers Union (CWU), the Democratic Postal Workers Union (DEPACU), and the SA Postal Workers Union (SAPWU) have returned to work after they signed a wage increase agreement.
The terms agreed upon include a salary increase of 6.5%, working hours extended to 27.5 hours per week for full-time employees and a promise to permanently employ 500 contracted workers.
Meanwhile, Post Office CEO Mark Barnes confirmed that it has migrated 2.2 million social grant beneficiaries to the new SASSA/SAPO issued gold card.
"SAPO appreciated the importance of the SASSA project and is committed to work closely with its employees to ensure the livelihoods of the most vulnerable are not put under unnecessary strain," reads a statement.
This follow prolonged legal and procedural battles to take over payments from Cash Paymaster Services (CPS).
