Western Cape High Court Judge Nathan Erasmus has ordered the contents of the psychiatric report into the alleged Parliament arsonist Zandile Mafe not to be disclosed at this stage.
Mafe appeared in the Western Cape High Court on Thursday.
He is facing various charges related to the catastrophic fire at the parliamentary buildings in January 2022.
Erasmus told counsel that the contents of Mafe's psychiatric report not be released as the party may dispute the findings.
The report will determine if Mafe is fit to stand trial.

".... And in the instant matter, the defence had not had the opportunity to consult their clients about it, whether they wanted to dispute it or not. It goes to his medical condition, and I will therefore give them this opportunity to consult,” Erasmus said.
The judge also ordered Mafe to be kept at the hospital section of Pollsmoor Prison.
The matter has been postponed to 13 July when Judge Erasmus is expected to divulge the contents of Mafe's psychiatric report.
