Dickason has petitioned the High Court in Timaru to move her trial from Timaru to Christchurch.

Her lawyer Kerryn Beaton appeared on her behalf in court on Friday.

Dickason has been admitted to a psychiatric facility in Christchurch.

Her clinician has advised Justice Cameron Mander that exposing her to the court setting, at this stage, could be detrimental to her health, and has been excused from all court hearings.

Dickason allegedly killed 6-year-old Liané, and 2-year-old twins Maya and Karla at their home in September last year.
