Limpopo mayor’s suspected killers drop bail bid

Two men charged with the murder of Collins Chabane mayor Moses Maluleke
have abandoned their bail application in the Malamulele Magistrate's Court in
Limpopo.
Shumani Nemadodzi and Avhatakali Mulaudzi appeared in court on Monday.
They face charges of murder, attempted murder, robbery with aggravating circumstances, and possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
Maluleke was gunned down outside his home in Shikundu in an apparent robbery.
Provincial NPA spokesperson Mashudu Malabi-Dzhangi says the matter has been postponed for further investigation.
“The matter is postponed to 19 September 2022 for further investigations. The accused will remain in custody.”
