Limpopo police arrest three for illegal mining

Three suspects have been arrested for illegal mining in Lebowakgomo, Limpopo.

Provincial police spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe says the suspects were arrested on Sunday following a tip-off by members of the community in Bogalatladi Village.
He says the three are expected to appear before the Sekhukhune Magistrate Court on Tuesday.
"During the arrest, the police confiscated the following items, five jackhammers, three spades, six chisels, one shovel, three electric cords and one wheelbarrow.”
