President Cyril Ramaphosa has pleaded with South African men to stop demanding that women sleep with them to secure a job or earn a promotion.
Ramaphosa has expressed concern over the tendency by men to demand women have sexual relations with them in order to secure a job.
“Women are expected to sleep their way into higher positions, and we are saying, that must come to an end,” Ramaphosa said on Monday.
He engaged with the Lusikisiki community in the Eastern Cape on femicide, gender-based violence and the killing of people living with albinism.
