Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger says he's not planning to lay criminal charges against the fan who attacked him at a sports event on Saturday.
Although Schwarzenegger says while he's saddened by the unexpected attack by a crazed fan - he views the incident as mischievous.
A fan kicked the 71-year-old from behind at Arnold Classic Africa taking place at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg.
The organisation says the attacker has been dubbed by police as a repeat offender.
In a statement, the organisation says the action hero is in good spirits and the sports event will continue as planned on Sunday.
"He views this as an unfortunate incident by a mischievous fan."
Schwarzenegger took to Twitter, encouraging his fans “to stop spreading the video of the idiot which clearly wants the spotlight to become famous”.
And if you have to share the video (I get it), pick a blurry one without whatever he was yelling so he doesn’t get the spotlight.
