Eskom says South Africans will mark Workers'Day with load shedding in place, albeit at a lower stage.
On Monday, stage 1 load shedding is in place during the day with stage 3 kicking in at 4 pm.

Eksom says a generation unit each at Matla and Medupi power stations was returned to service by Sunday.
However, in the same period, a generating unit each at Grootvlei and Lethabo power stations was taken offline for repairs.
"The delays in returning a unit to service at Arnot, Duvha, Kriel and Lethabo power stations contributed to the current capacity constraints.," they say.
Various stages of load shedding will be implemented until Wednesday.
