Load shedding suspended until 4pm: Eskom
Updated | By Princess Mahogo
Eskom says load shedding will continue to be suspended until 4pm on Monday due to consistent available generation capacity.

Stage 3 load shedding will then take effect until midnight.
This comes as South Africa is experiencing the coldest day of the year so far.
“Due to consistent available generation capacity, loadshedding will continue to be suspended from midnight until 16:00 and Stage 3 loadshedding will remain in force from 16:00 today until midnight. This pattern will be repeated daily until further notice” said Eskom interim spokesperson Daphne Mokwena.
The power utility has warned residents to use electricity sparingly by unplugging heavy appliances, such as geysers, stoves, and heaters.
