All indications are that it will be another tough one in the National Assembly. As Maryke Vermaak reports, there still is no indication whether any questions about the controversial Nkandla issue may at all be put to the President.
Family, friends and high profile guests have gathered at the Baseline nightclub in Newtown, this afternoon for the memorial service of Skwatta Camp rapper Flabba. Nkululeko ‘Flabba’ Habedi died at an Alexandra house in the early hours of Monday morning, from a stab wound to the heart. His sister Nomonde has started the memorial service by telling mourners how they used Flabba as a live doll when he was still a baby and how the music industry has also lost a family member.The woman who has been held for Flabba’s murder made her first court appearance yesterday at the Alexandra’s Magistrate’s court.

Toxicology analysis has confirmed that hundreds of Blue Cranes in the Northern Cape were poisoned in 2012 with a substance used as a livestock remedy. Dr Gerhard Verdoorn from the Griffon Poison Information Centre says the findings prove that the national birds which are also a protected species were deliberately poisoned.
The father of honeymoon murder victim Anni Dewani has had an arm ripped off in an industrial accident. His family confirmed that the 65-year old Vinoc Hindocha, had his right arm severed just below the shoulder as he was fixing a lift in his native Sweden. The limb was re-attached during a 13-long operation and doctors believe he could regain full use of it. the Hindocha family are waiting to hear whether Shrien Dewani would be called to testify at an inquest in the UK, about Anni's 2010 murder in Cape Town.
