Magashule vows to reveal all at asbestos trial
Updated | By Sibahle Motha
Suspended African National Congress (ANC) secretary-general Ace Magashule has promised to reveal all once he takes the stand at the Bloemfontein High Court.
Magashule says he wants his day in court to prove his innocence.
He made the comments in Leratswana in the Free State on Wednesday.
“That is why I wish to be in the box, because once I am in the box, I can’t say some of the things here,” Magashule said.

“I still just want my case to come to an end and I must be allowed to get into the box and prove my innocence.
“As I prove my innocence, I will be able to reveal some of the things because you can’t go to a commission because you must reveal things in the court of law and anybody who will contest that will be given that opportunity to say so.”
Magashule is facing charges related to the R255 million asbestos tender issued in 2014 while he was FreeState premier.
