Maguvhe to be summonsed to appear before SABC inquiry
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
SABC board chairperson and lone board member Professor Mbulaheni Maguvhe will be summonsed to appear before the parliamentary inquiry into the SABC board.

Maguvhe was a no-show this afternoon.
He was due to make submissions to the committee at 16:00.
Ad hoc committee chair Vincent Smith has asked Parliament's legal team to put into motion the summons process to ensure Maguvhe appears before the committee on Tuesday.
ANC MP and committee member Makhosi Khoza says: "I honestly think we should use the summons and whatever other legal means possible to get him before the committee."
The SABC delegation staged a walkout on day one of the inquiry.
Maguvhe's legal team objected that he did not have the reports from the Public Protector, Auditor-General and Icasa available in braille.
The ANC has expressed its disgust at the behaviour of the SABC delegation.
