Malema, Ndlozi back in court for assault
Updated | By Sibahle Motha
Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema and Member of Parliament Mbuyiseni Ndlozi are both expected to appear in the Randburg Magistrate’s Court on Monday.

The pair are facing charges in connection with the alleged assault of a police officer at the funeral of Winnie Madikizela-Mandela in 2018.
The charges were laid by lobby group AfriForum.

The case was postponed last month when they both failed to appear in court.
“The matter is set down today for the court to have an investigation regarding a non-appearance after which the matter will be postponed to the 13 October after which the trial will commence,” says AfriForum private prosecutor Phyllis Vorster.
