Malema, Shivambu retain their positions

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema has been re-elected unopposed as party president.
The party elected its top 6 leadership on day two of its elective conference in Narec, south of Johannesburg on Saturday.
Deputy President Floyd Shivambu also managed to retain his position.
The position of national chairperson was taken by Veronica Mente, who succeeds Advocate Dali Mpofu.
The party's controversial Member of Parliament Marshall Dlamini snatched the position of secretary-general from Godrich Gardee.
The party's new deputy secretary-general is Poppy Mailola, while Omphile Maotwe is the red berets' treasurer-general.
The nomination and election of the new leadership was overseen by the Institute of Election Management Services chairperson Terry Tselane.
