Man arrested for driving at 202km/h
A 48-year-old man was arrested on Sunday for driving at 202km/h on the N1 freeway near Mariasburg, Johannesburg metro police said.
"He was driving a Porsche Panamera without number plate and its permit had expired," said Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar.
He said the man was detain at the Florida police station and was expected to appear in the Roodepoort Magistrate's Court on Monday.
He was charged with reckless and negligent driving, as well as operating an unregistered vehicle.
