Man dies in KZN crash
A man was killed and another was injured in a truck crash on the N11 outside Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal paramedics said on Friday.
Paramedics found a vehicle with a trailer blocking one section of the road, said ER24 spokesman Russel Meiring.
A truck that was burning lay on the side of the road.
"Firefighters extinguished the blaze. A passenger in the truck had unfortunately burnt to death. No one from the light motor vehicle had sustained injuries," said Meiring.
The truck driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to hospital.
