Mbalula addressed members of the media in Polokwane on the sidelines of the ANC national working committee's visit to Limpopo on Sunday.

ANC national officials, led by President Cyril Ramaphosa, engaged with ANC structures in Limpopo over the weekend.

Mbalula warned ANC deployees in government that people aren't interested in party's internal squabbles, and only want to see improved service delivery.

"We are very clear as the national leadership; you don't perform, you go.

"MECs and everyone else, you don't perform you go and we have got to run with the necessary speed. Our people are not interested in terms of inward looking issues about who gets elected and who doesn't gets elected."

Limpopo remains an ANC stronghold in the run-up to next year's elections.

"All of us we are here we have engaged with the regions of the ANC. Two things that defines this visit is the state of the organisation and governance," said Mbalula.

He said while load shedding is an issue throughout the country, Limpopo is also dealing with a water crisis and a lack of proper roads.
