Mchunu denies any wrongdoing
Updated | By Emile Pienaar
The Minister of Police, Senzo Mchunu, has responded to allegations leveled against him about links to criminal syndicates and politically motivated murder investigations.

This comes after recent allegations made by the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Police Commissioner, Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.
The allegations led to widespread reaction with calls for him to be fired.
Mchunu told SABC News on Friday that he looks forward to defending himself in the Commission of Inquiry announced by President Cyril Ramaphosa.
“Let’s wait for the commission,” he said.
“From where I stand, I am innocent, and I deny it very strongly.”
The uMkhonto weSizwe Party marched to the Union Buildings in Tshwane on Friday demanding the resignation of President Cyril Ramaphosa, and the arrest of anyone named in the allegations made by Mkhwanazi.
