"Men have been getting on my nerves lately. Every day I read the newspaper and I just think: ‘Brothers, what's wrong with you guys, what's wrong with us?' I mean we are violent, we are bullying," Obama said.

He believes empowering women to take up positions of power will automatically lead to better policies.

Obama said politics and government cannot be avoided, and young people need to get involved for the right reasons.

"The question is 'how do I want to engage it?' You do not have an excuse to say this is too corrupt and I'm going to sell my soul. Find a way where you're not selling your soul.”
