A metro police vehicle has knocked over and killed a Pretoria boy, police said on Wednesday.

Captain Reineth Motlana confirmed they were investigating a case of culpable homicide following the accident in the north of Pretoria on Friday.
"I cannot comment any further as the case is still under investigation," she said.
According to the Beeld newspaper 17-year-old Rudi Lettau was riding his bicycle on Brits Road when the unmarked metro police vehicle hit his
bicycle.
Lettau, who was the deputy head boy of Hoërskool Pretoria-Noord, suffered critical head and leg injuries.
