MK to support Zuma at disciplinary hearing

The uMkhonto weSizwe Party says its leader, Jacob Zuma, will present himself before the ANC's disciplinary committee at Luthuli House, next week Tuesday.
The MK Party is adamant that Zuma has nothing to hide despite all the allegations levelled against him.
On Thursday, the ANC notified the former President that he faces allegations of breaching the party constitution by endorsing the MK Party and appearing on its candidate list.
The ANC’s National Disciplinary Committee has charged Zuma with two counts of misconduct.
In the first charge, Zuma is accused of contravening the ANC constitution after he publicly endorsed the MK party in December.
The second charge is for appearing on the candidate list for the MK party in this year's election.
In January, the ANC suspended Zuma following his decision to join the MK party ahead of the elections.
However, his membership was not terminated, and he said he has no plans to resign from the ruling party.
MK party's spokesperson, Nhlamulo Ndhlela says Zuma's dual membership is not controversial.
If he is found guilty, Zuma will become the first ANC president in history to be expelled from the party for misconduct.
