A Monday with Stage 2 load-shedding
Updated | By Neo Motloung
Eskom has confirmed the implementation of Stage 2 load-shedding from 9am on Monday. The power cuts are expected to last until 10 pm.
This comes after several breakdowns in power station maintainers.
"We are starting the week from a very low base because of our diesel generators and water reserves plus a number of outrages that were not maintained probably. All these things are putting pressure on the system," says Eskom's Khulu Phasiwe.
Phasiwe apologised for the outages, especially at this time of the year.
