Motsoaledi: NHI is the only way forward
Health Minister Aaron Motsoaledi says the National Health Insurance (NHI) is the only way forward for the healthcare system.
On Tuesday, Motsoaledi addressed the media along with members of the Board of Healthcare Funders following an article he penned over the weekend.
Motsoaledi again emphasised the importance of better healthcare for all, not just the wealthy.
The minister explained that the NHI is not an attack on private healthcare providers or the middle class who make use of them, but simply a way to ensure we pool the country's resources to make healthcare more affordable.
