Motsoeneng won't testify at SABC ad hoc committee
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
The ad hoc committee on the SABC board inquiry has resumed with MP's set to consider the working document.
The UDM requested the committee to call controversial former SABC COO Hlaudi Motsoeneng to testify.
"In almost all the testimonies we have received in this committee, Mr Hlaudi Motsoeneng has been implicated in some or other form," says the UDM's Nqabayomzi Kwankwa.
Kwankwa says it would be in the interests of justice to call Motsoeneng to testify.
"Testimony suggested that Mr Hlaudi Motsoeneng was at the centre of the divisions with all the boards between 2009 and 2016, which means he is also implicated in governance issues at the SABC," says Kwankwa.
The UDM's request was however turned down.
