Mourners remember generous, compassionate Chesnay Keppler

The funeral service of the slain Gauteng Traffic Warden Chesnay Patricia Keppler was held at the Don Mateman Hall in Eldorado Park on Saturday.
The funeral service of the slain Gauteng Traffic Warden Chesnay Patricia Keppler is currently underway at the Don Mateman Hall in Eldorado Park.
Keppler was fatally shot, on Boxing Day, allegedly by her police officer boyfriend who has since been arrested.
Keppler’s sister has remembered her as an empathetic and caring person whose impactful life will never be forgotten.
Friends have described the slain 22-year-old as ever-smiling and approachable.

Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi and Johannesburg's Transport MMC Kenny Kunene were among the officials present at the funeral service.
Keppler’s white coffin, adorned with a white wreath, stood at the front of the packed hall as mourners celebrated her life in song and prayer.
