Police spokesperson Leonard Hlathi says the suspects, aged 28 and 34, will face charges of murder.
“This also happened after this businessman was in actual fact somewhere resting and then he decided to go open his business,” said Hlathi.
“It was during that moment when a squabble ensued between himself and other patrons and in that process, shots were fired that led to his death.”
Hlathi adds that another 28-year-old businessman was killed in the province on the same day during a business robbery in Machadodorp.
However, the individuals responsible for killing the 28-year-old remain at large.
