Police acted on a tip-off and cornered the suspect near a fast-food outlet at the Lebowakgomo shopping centre outside Polokwane on Wednesday.

The suspect was allegedly found in possession of three sachets of crystal meth, 300 sachets of heroine (nyaope) and 80 sachets of cocaine.

Limpopo Police spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba says police continued with a raid at the suspect's property in Maralaneng village.

"They discovered a substantial quantity of similar drugs and over R30 000 in cash believed to be proceeds from the drugs. The estimated street value of the seized drugs is R5 million.

"Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect was selling drugs to even school children across various schools.

"Furthermore, he has a similar pending case before Mankweng Regional Court," said Ledwaba.

Police recovered the suspect's illegal firearm with three rounds of live ammunition and confiscated his vehicle as part of the investigation.
