New charges brought against Eskom's legal head
Suzanne Daniels is facing fresh charges of misconduct despite being reinstated by the CCMA earlier this month.
Eskom says the disciplinary hearing of the head of its legal department will go ahead as new charges have now been levelled against her.
This comes despite the Council for Conciliation Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) ruling that Suzanne Daniels' suspension was unfair - and sent her back to work.

The power utility says it is yet to make a decision whether to appeal the CCMA ruling, but adds it "did not make any ruling on the disciplinary charges".
As a result the disciplinary process against Daniels, who is set to return to work later this month, will proceed along with the new charges.
"They are serious charges of misconduct," says Eskom spokesperson Dikatso Mothae.
She explains the charges include "the distribution of confidential information; settlement of McKinsey/Trillian matter, and payments made to McKinsey and Trillian; as well as her involvement in the Optimum/Tegeta pre-payment and guarantee issued by Eskom."
In a statement the power utility however notes Daniels' actions in relation to the contracts and payments, including investigating the payments, are commendable.

Daniels has made representations to the power utility and Eskom says it will announce on the way forward in the coming days.
Despite the CCMA instructing Eskom to reinstate Daniels, the power utility says it believes it would be inappropriate for her to return to work at this stage given "the serious nature of the charges".
Daniels has so far not been available for comment.
